The Fair is accompanied by a Celebrity Guest and an entertainment programme featuring talented local performers. The Fair is an iconic F&B pop-up extravaganza that makes a lasting impression in the minds and bodies of all foodies.

The Kapiti Food Fair is an annual food & beverage event well known to vendors and visitors. We had 20,000+ visitors in 2018 so we are on a mission to reach that and beyond in 2019. Relax in the bar & wash down your foodie treats and shop to you drop for items to take home to your pantry or for gifts. Talented local entertainers will perform, and our Celebrity Guest will be announced soon.

INFORMATION FOR VISITORS:

Park on-site for a gold coin or catch the train to Paraparaumu Station and board the FREE Kapiti Kruzer bus on the hour for a short ride to and from the Fair.

Departing the Station at: 10.08am, 11.08am, 12.08pm, 1.08pm, 2.08pm and 3.08pm.

Departing Mazengarb Reserve at: 10.38am, 11.38am, 12.38pm, 1.38pm, 2.38pm and 3.38pm.

If you are local, walk or ride your bike or catch the train from Waikanae or Paekakariki and board the free Kapiti Kruzer bus.

The Hits Info Hub will operate during the Fair to answer any visitor questions.

The Fair is a pre-Christmas event providing a commercial opportunity for vendors to package their products for visitors to sample, buy gifts or to simply stock-up their pantry at home. Previous Fairs have attracted artisan and commercial products including a large variety of ready to eat foods with every vendor adding to a positive visitor experience.

Just some examples of what has been on offer at past Fairs includes:

Chocolates, sweets, fudges, turkish delight, licorice, toffee apples, jams, marmalade, jellies, relishes & pickles, pastes & syrups, sauces, dressings, vinegars, dips & spreads, pestos & salsas, dukkah & preserves.

Figs, peanut butter, nut butters, breads, baking & cupcakes, cheesecakes, donuts, macarons & pastries, wines, beers, champagne, cider, mead & ports, liqueurs, whiskey, gin & vodka, juices, cordials & soda, teas, coffee, chai & kombucha, olives & olive oils, nuts, salts, peppers, ice cream, popsicles, gelato & sorbet, koeksisters, popcorn & candyfloss, meats, pies, salami & sausages, cheeses, DIY kits, eel, smoked salmon, crab & fish.
